-Wrestling Tournament Information Sheet

-Date: Saturday January 10, 2009

-Location: BHP High school

-Weigh-Ins 8:00 am (There will be no bumping, if they do not make weight).Wrestlers need to be listed by weight class, not actual weight.

-Coaches meeting 9:00 am (hospitality room)

-Wrestling Starts 9:30 am

- Eligibility: grades 7- 10 and certified by SCHSL.

- Keep in mind that a varsity wrestler is only allowed 16 dates. There should be no varsity level wrestlers competing in the qualifying tournaments

-Entries due by email by Wednesday January 7, 2009 by 3:00 PM

-No late entries will be accepted –no exceptions.

-This tournament will be cut off at the first 400 entries.

- I will reply to emails to verify I have received your entries

-Cost –$7 per entry (This includes no shows)

-Due to large number of no-shows, you will have to pay for everyone that you enter into the tournament- NO EXCEPTIONS.

-Tournament Format –Double Elimination

-Medal –Top 3

-Time period –3 90 second periods: Championship and Consolation

-Admission –$5 everyone over age of 5

-No food or drinks will be allowed in the gym (District Policy)

-Tournament will be run on 5 mats

-Changes in the tournament will only be made if we made the mistake.

-All Teams and spectators need to enter and park on the new gym side.

Reminder all entries by Wednesday, January 7, 2009 by 3:00 pm

Make sure that you get your entries in on time or they will not be accepted.
